Profile
Dr Chavan is a Senior Lecturer in Business at Macquarie University. Prior to joining Macquarie University she held academic positions at the University of Western Sydney from 1995-2008.Dr Chavan’s research focuses on International Business Strategy, Cross Cultural Management and Entrepreneurship. Her work has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Management Development, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Journal of Equal Opportunities & Journal of Industry and Higher Education.
Her current research examines the dynamic global environments and its impact on the multinational corporations in terms of strategy, organization structure, culture, competition & technology. Her special interests include cross cultural, strategic and managerial issues pertaining to international strategic alliances in emerging economies.
