- I was awarded an Outstanding Teacher Award in 2004 and received High Commendation for Innovation in the category for Learning and Teaching in 2005
- The textbook ‘Generic Skills in Accounting: Competencies for Students and Graduates’ published by Pearson Prentice Hall in 2003 has been widely cited in accounting research articles and adopted by institutions both nationally and internationally
- My research in accounting and higher education continues to benefit student learning and curriculum improvement. The contributions and achievements in these areas are evident in the competitive grants and awards that I have received to fund these projects
