Profile
Dr Siedlecky has been a Guest Lecturer/ Honarary Associate at Macquarie University since 1989. She holds a MSc Medical Demography (1978) from University of London and MB, BS (H2) 1943 from the University of Sydney.
For 30 years, Dr Siedlecky was a medical practitioner, specialising in family planning and women's health. In the 1970's she worked with
Family Planning NSW and helped establish the Leichhardt Women's Health Centre, and the Preterm Foundation. In 1974 Dr Siedlecky joined the Commonwealth Department of Health, and worked with the Family Planning Program and the Women's Health Committee of the National Health and Medical Research Council. She was awarded Member of the Order of Australia for services to women's health in 1987.
